Happy and Healthy

Marty and Fran had check ups today. 3yr and 9mo respectively. They are both on the small side, but healthy and happy. Isn't it such a blessing, good health. We just love our pediatrician. He is so fabulous! He looks like Niles Crane on Fraizer.

I haven't done so hot on my 5 AM lately. I'll try again on Thursday.

I just read a great book, Austenland by Shannon Hale. It's a fun little romantic read, great for Jane Austen fans. That's one of the reasons keeping me from early rising...I've been staying up too late reading. There's nothing like reading a book that you just can't put down. Shannon Hale lives in SLC.

Today, when my time at the pediatrician's office was done, I spent the rest of the day at my friend Becky's house. We scrapbooked while the kids played. And what a beautiful day to be a kid I may add. They played outside a lot today! I love these little spring teaser days. I little reminder that new life and light will begin very soon!

And there was light...

Wow, this blogging thing really works for me. The sun shown yesterday and warmed my house up so much I had to crack a window (thank you to my honey for my new storm door, LOVE IT). Can we say spring fever...

Yesterday was a good day for my bro., a homecoming of sorts. Welcome back DJ.

I exercised yesterday, strength training, oh yeah. And this morning I got up at 5 AM to do yoga! My plan is to make a habit of it. First step: get to bed earlier. Thank you Total Body Work Out-BYU TV http://www.byub.org/totalbodyworkout/, Deni Preston, you are my fitness hero.

Lizzy is off Track. We have a week full of play dates and activities to celebrate. That and the blogging is leading to me getting behind at work (Herb has a point!). Better get to it.

Winter...

Honestly...I am greatful for the precip., we do live in a desert afterall, but what I wouldn't give for a good dose of sunshine right now. PLEASE tell me the groundhog did NOT see his shadow, I haven't heard.

So I've finally joined the ranks of the bloggers. I've felt so left out in my various cirlcles. So here I am, blogging away! Hopefully I won't have to quit my job to maintain it as my Herb has predicted. I'm off to a simple start. Enjoy!
